CBSE Publishes School-Wise Academic Report Cards – See How Your School Performed This Year

CBSE Encourages Schools to Use Data for Improvement

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released Academic Performance Report Cards for all affiliated schools across India for the 2024–25 academic year. These detailed reports provide information to see how each school has performed across subjects, grades, and activities, helping educators plan better for the next session.

CBSE publishes 2025 school-wise academic report cards, offering insights into performance metrics and results across various institutions.

CBSE has also advised schools to use these findings while preparing their Annual Pedagogical Plans(yearly teaching plan). The goal is to identify areas of strength, highlight gaps in learning, and adopt data-driven strategies to enhance student performance.

What the Report Card Includes

Each school’s report card contains a comprehensive academic and co-curricular analysis, including:

  • Average marks scored across all subjects
  • Comparison with the state and national CBSE averages
  • Subject-wise performance for Classes 10 and 12
  • Gender-based performance trends
  • Sports participation statistics, showing involvement at cluster and zonal levels

Highlights from the Performance Data

In one school’s report, the Class 10 average stood at 79.08%, higher than the Rajasthan average of 71.12%, but slightly below the CBSE national average of 88.16%.
Similarly, for Class 12, the school recorded an average of 77.11%, compared to the CBSE average of 82.72%.

Subject-Wise Strengths

The report showed impressive results in technology-related subjects.

  • Class 10: Students excelled in Artificial Intelligence (92.14%), Data Science (91.78%), and Sanskrit (86.39%), surpassing state and national averages.
  • Class 12: Top scores came in Electronics and Hardware (92.67%), Informatics Practices (86.65%), and Design Thinking and Innovation (87.54%).

Such results indicate that students are adapting well to new-age and skill-based learning introduced under the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.

Gender-Wise Trends

Once again, girls outperformed boys at both levels:

  • Class 10: Girls scored an average of 80.85%, while boys averaged 78.79%.
  • Class 12: Girls scored 78.93%, slightly ahead of boys at 78.84%.

Sports and Co-Curricular Involvement

The report also highlights active participation in sports. One school recorded 125 student participants, far above the state average of 47 and the national average of 40.
Popular activities included badminton, basketball, kabaddi, table tennis, chess, and skating — reflecting CBSE’s focus on holistic education beyond academics.

CBSE said that these analytics are meant to encourage holistic growth, combining academics, sports, and innovation. Schools can now use this data to track progress, refine teaching methods, and make learning more effective.
